Grade details:
ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) A694 is low steel. This grade is mainly preferred for tempered and quenched conditions. A964 is known for its moderate strength. Even it has impact toughness. These are mainly used to manufacture flanges. This grade is well suited for application that requires cold temperature service where corrosion is not an issue.
