Stainless Steel 316/316L/316H/316TI Seamless Pipes

SS 316 is austenitic SS that is consisting of molybdenum. It is containing nickel and is demonstrating good resistance properties. It is containing resistance towards crevice corrosion and pitting. It contains resistance ability to various temperatures, stress, and creeps rupture strength. The alloy is having good welding ability and forming ability.

SS 316L is low carbon austenitic SS alloy having resistance ability and is having grain boundary precipitation sensitization ability. It is called as standard molybdenum material and thus offers resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. These grade pipes are formable by mechanical heating and other processes.

Because of the austenitic structure, it is providing toughness at an average temperature. SS 316H alloy is the high carbon version of SS 316 that is easily used at different temperatures and pressures. It is possessing good strength and works very well at the elevated temperature. It is used for the structural applications and pressure vessel at the temperature more than 932 deg F. The high carbon content is greatly responsible for the high tensile and yielding strength. The austenitic structure is offering very good toughness at cryogenic temperatures. The resistance to corrosion of the material is good compared to the other alloys. It is used at the stream that is containing chlorides.

SS 316Ti is a titanium stabilized version of SS 316 and it is showing very good resistance towards crevice corrosion and pitting. It offers good stress rupture and high tensile strength and high creep-rupture properties at elevated temperatures. Stainless Steel 316/316L/316H/316Ti Seamless Pipes are well quality tested.
