Stainless Steel 347/347H Sheets and Plates

Type 347 is austenite chromium steel alloy, with columbium element. The chromium and tantalum increase its creep, strength, and resistance to corrosion. Grade 347 alloys have a higher rupture property than alloy 304. Its higher carbon composition increase strength and used in higher temperature applications. This alloy is used in the chemical processing industry, food processing, and storage, petroleum industry, heat recovery system, and oil and gas industry, etc. type 347/347H having many characteristics like high rupture property and chloride creep stress, work on a high temperature range, decrease sensitization and corrosion concerns. It is provide high corrosion resistance because of stabilizations.

Because of higher ferrite 347 stainless steel plates is avoid carbide and it is working at 680 degrees C for several hours. Air is used for cooling the 347 stainless steel. Stainless steel 347 plates are holding at low temperatures 20 to 40 degree C. SS 347H sheets and plates, is nonmagnetic steel has many features like heat resistance, high mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. SS 347H cannot work many hours in a harsh condition. By adding some chemical elements like chromium and nickel and other elements, we increase its resistance property. The chromium, aluminum and silicon alloy increases the bearing capacity of SS 347H sheets and plates. SS 347H plate prevents corrosion and increases resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion. SS 347H works easily under tough and hard conditions. The sheets and plates are used in high-pressure applications as well as the heat exchanger.
