Hastelloy C22 Flanges are adaptable austenitic chromium, molybdenum, tungsten and nickel alloy flanges. hastelloy flanges have a superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SSC). The composition of chromium content gives excellent resistance to oxidizing environments. In addition moly and tungsten content provides resistance to reducing conditions. However, nickel content provides magnificent oxidizing resistance to an aqueous media event that contains chlorides and a mixture of harsh acids. Moreover, hastelloy flanges have good resistance to acid chlorides, and cupric chlorides formic acids, wet chlorine, acetic acids, etc.

C22 flanges server good performance in brine or mixed chemical solutions both organic and inorganic. These flanges offer great resistance to conditions where reducing and oxidizing condition have occurred. These flanges resist the growth of grain limit in the weld affected area. Thus, it turns into appropriate for the majority chemical processing applications in as-welded conditions. However, C22 flanges cannot be used in temperature above 1250 deg F. above this temperature adverse stages may produce.
