Nickel Valves

Ni 201 and Ni 200 are also famous as commercial pure nickel; Ni 201 and nickel alloy Ni 201. Ni 201 only varies from Ni 200 by its content of carbon (0.15 percent max in Ni 200 versus 0.02 percent max in Ni 201). Ni 201 is used in elevated temperature applications including soap manufacturing, production of ethane, methane, & benzene, reactors and vessels, viscose rayon manufacturing. Nickel 201 alloy is fully CP wrought nickel that is having greater properties to offer like good corrosion resistance at alkalis and acids and in several useful reducing conditions. The outstanding resistance to caustic acid to and molten state is making it be the right choice for use at high-temperature applications.

In alkaline, acidic, and neutral salt solutions the material shows very good resistance, and oxidizing salt solutions, the simple attack may occur. This alloy is immune to the intergranular attack more than 315 Degree C and chlorate must be kept to a minimum.
