Stainless Steel 317 flanges details:
SS 317 flanges are austenitic chromium and nickel steel with great corrosion resistance properties. It has higher moly content provides grade superior resistance to pitting. It is the most corrosive resistive grade flanges. These possess the highest creep & tensile properties at elevated temperature.
Stainless steel 317L flanges details:
These flanges are low carbon version of austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel. it can be utilized in the applications where annealing is not possible after welding. It is used in corrosive resistive environments. Moreover, these flanges have good resistance to oxidation in fluctuating temperatures up to 1600 deg F and offer continuous service up to 1700 deg F.

All hot working process is possible with these flanges. it is heated between 11449 deg C to 1260 deg C. however, hot working is avoided in temperature 927 deg C. cold working process can be used for metal treatments. The annealing is done between 1010 deg C to 1121 deg C and followed by fast cooling. The hardening process cannot be done by the heat treatment process.This process will lead to an increase in strength and hardness of flanges without any damages. these flanges serve good service in chemical exposures even in sulfuric acids, acetic acids, phosphoric acids, nitric acids, etc.
