Alloy 347 is a columbium and austenitic stainless steel which provides good corrosion resistance and oxidization resistance. At low temp, 347 alloys have high toughness and hardness. And alloy 347 shows high creeps strength and mechanical strength at the 1500 degree f. Alloy 347h stainless steel has higher carbon content and it is an updated version of 347 alloys. It has excellent creep strength at 1000 degrees F and has a high strength too. Alloy 347 and 347H both alloy cannot be hardened by doing heat treatment but it becomes hard by doing a cold working process. It can easily welded and has low ductility and easy to form.Flanges are used to join and connect pipe, valve and other machine's equipment to other objects in a piping system.
